Basil Hayden Toast 750ml
What does Basil Hayden toast taste like?
Fine notes of toffee, butterscotch, sweet bread, and a touch of almond create a likeable first sip. Like the nose, the flavors work well together, creating a flavor profile that is cohesive. It's an even-keeled flavor profile that doesn't try to challenge you, and instead is a relaxed sip with adequate flavor.
What is the difference between Basil Hayden and Basil Hayden toast?
Unlike other Basil Hayden bourbons, Toast is made with U.S.-grown brown rice, and undergoes secondary finishing in a toasted barrel. After aging, the toasted brown rice is blended back with more brown rice bourbon which has been rested in level four char barrels.
Is Basil Hayden toast limited?
He has previously produced limited-edition whiskeys under his annual blend-focused “Little Book” line as well as a delicious reimagining of Old Tub released in 2020. According to Noe, “Basil Hayden Toast is truly a whiskey for fans of all taste and experience levels to share.”
